Barry Ladies RFC

Met with these ladies for a Thursday evening training session. The Barry Ladies RFC, was formed in 2010 originally known as the Bombettes. They currently play in division one, and in 2015 were the league winners. Rachel Baron is the team manager for her 5th consecutive year. The team is made up from women of various backgrounds ranging from School Teachers, Managers, Prison Officers etc. In June the club attended the Newquay Seven's Tournament and became runners up. Keira Deeks has been afforded the opportunity of playing 7's Rugby in Dubai. The team trains every Tuesday and Thursday 7.30-9pm.
